Delémont and its valley are the centre of gravity of the market. The capital and neighbours such as Courroux, Courtételle, Develier and Rossemaison sit above the cantonal average, as do Haute-Sorne and Val Terbi a little further out. Moutier, which joined the canton on 1 January 2026, now forms a new district of its own in the Birse valley.
Ajoie is organised around Porrentruy and its old town. Communes close to town hold their prices, while the border villages, from Fahy in the west to Basse-Vendline in the east, are among the cheapest in the canton. The Franches-Montagnes, centred on Saignelégier, have a smaller market of houses and farms, yet Saignelégier itself and Le Noirmont trade above the cantonal average.
The median price of a flat in the canton of Jura sits around CHF 4 500 per m². For a house, expect around CHF 4 300 per m². The gaps from one commune to the next remain marked.
Among the communes of a certain size, Saignelégier, Delémont and Haute-Sorne show the highest prices per m² for a flat. The details appear on each commune page.
